Kingsway Country Club - Social Activities

New members at Kingsway immediately have the opportunity to make friends, and join the many diverse golfing groups open to all members regardless of age or handicap. Couples groups, afternoon and weekend groups popular with those still working, and morning or afternoon groups popular with retirees, insures that in a short period of time new members have the opportunity to meet many different people. You may also want to play in inter-club competition; and you don't have to be a Tiger to play, it's for fun. If it's a higher level of competition you're looking for, you won't have difficulty finding that either because Kingsway has its share of low handicap golfers, competitive golfing events, and host's tournaments open to members.

When the game is finished, or when the weather is poor, there is still plenty more to do to keep members from getting bored. Our tennis players are always looking for new competition.  Members are also free to join the Kingsway Men's or Lady's Associations that are busy holding or planning special events. There is a Garden Club, a Book Club and even a Red Hat Club. Mahjong and any number of different card groups from Bridge and Gin to Poker are active in the game room and available for member's participation. There are frequent themed and holiday parties, crafts and artists showcases, fashion shows, travel events, game days, and luncheons.

As the years pass, and the ability to golf diminishes, Kingsway's members still have the freedom to enjoy the clubs facilities, and social events, but most importantly they can continue to enjoy the company of friends and the good times they have together. At any time golfing memberships can be converted to social memberships which permit continued use of non-golfing/tennis club facilities, and enjoyment of social events at a greatly reduced membership fee. You might say, at Kingsway, the good times never end.
