Kingsway Country Club - Old Florida Clubhouse

Hurricane Charley did extensive damage to our clubhouse on August 13, 2004. After examining many alternatives, the members decided not just to repair the existing clubhouse, but to completely renovate it and construct an Old Florida style clubhouse that specifically meets the needs of a private country club with limited membership. A renowned architect was engaged and with the input of both staff and members we created a layout that would not only meet members wildest dreams, but also meet the requirements of the kitchen staff, Pro shop, and administrative staff. We think now that its finished and you see it you will agree....We got it right!

Kingsway's tree lined entryway wanders past lakes, fairways, tees, and greens, leading to the clubhouse. From the spacious entry hall you have access the large well-stocked Pro shop manned by a PGA professional staff. Locker rooms and a game room are conveniently near by. After golf the Grille Room or the outdoor deck overlooking the course, might be tempting for lunch, cocktails or just to settle wagers. The spacious windows in both the Grille Room and the dining room will allow members and their guests to watch friends golfing, practicing, and playing tennis, while enjoying gourmet food served by an attentive, well trained wait staff. The dining room is also available to members for private parties, wedding receptions, Corporate Meetings and special events.

From years of experience we know that the Grille Room is always the center of activity and with this in mind we designed a spectacular area specifically for that purpose. The new dining room will continue to be used for banquets and receptions, holding tournament dinners, dinner dances, and the many other forms of entertainment members and their guests enjoy. New furnishings and decor further enhance the club house, and new energy efficient HVAC equipment will reduce Kingsway's operating cost, and eliminate the need for repair or replacement that older equipment frequently demands.
